“You are already one of the most amazing and coolest kids I have ever spoken to. You are stronger than I will ever be. Ever be,” says Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson, in a video message for his 13-year-old fan, Taitusi, from Hawaii.
WWE superstar-turned-actor recorded the video after he was approached by Make-A-Wish Foundation, requesting him to reach out to Taitusi who is suffering from a life-threatening illness.
In the video, the 44-year-old actor, who was shooting in Las Vegas for his upcoming film Ballers, says: "You are there in Hawaii, I am here in Las Vegas. I wish I could be there with you. I wish we could hang and talk like your wish was.”
Johnson adds that although he couldn't visit Taitusi, he already knows "so much" about him. “You love chicken, I love chicken. Your favorite colour is red, I love red. You love to play Call Of Duty, I suck at Call Of Duty. You love pancakes, I love pancakes. You favourite tree is white Christmas tree," he said.
Johnson got emotional describing Taitusi as one of the coolest and amazing kids he has ever spoken to. After a pause, the actor promised his young fan that he would "go crazy on Rice Krispies Treats" in his honour.
Posting the video on Instagram, Johnson told Taitusi: “I just want you to know how amazing and special of young boy you are. You inspire every single person around you right now. Including me. God bless you and your family.”
