'Comali' number 'Paisa Note' by Hiphop Tamizha out

The the much-awaited first single track from the upcoming comedy film Comali, starring Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal, was released on Thursday. The song is expected to find favour with the fans as it is performed by popular band Hiphop Tamizha.

Hiphop Tamizha has a reputation for experimenting with various elements of Indian music and infusing them with hip-hop, creating a fresh rhythm of Tamil hip-Hop. The band's previous association with Kollywood was their performance in Natpe Thunai a sports comedy film, directed by Parthiban Desingu. They had also composed songs for the Rajinikanth starrer Kaala.

Comali features Jayam Ravi in nine different avatars. The posters of the movie, portraying him in a bewildered pose has got people visibly excited on social media. A caveman, king, a slave from the British era, a 90's retro look are some of the looks spotted by the actor, indicating that the film is going to be a laugh riot.

Comali also stars Kannada actor Samyuktha Hegde, Yogi Babu, RJ Ananthi and K.S. Ravikumar.

Director Pradeep Ranganathan had assured that despite the laughs the film promises to deliver upon, Comali will have a relevant social message. As Hiphop Tamizha is also known for incorporating a few social issues and solutions into their thumping music, expectations are certainly high.

The movie is Pradeep Ranganathan’s directorial debut. His rise to prominence included a number of short films, the most notable of which was AppLock which won the best short film award at the Moviebuff contest. This would be Jayam Ravi's 24th film and would be his first pairing opposite Kajal Aggarwal.
