Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' announces unique audio launch venue

After weeks of anticipation, the updates regarding Jana Nayagan have started to flow. Reportedly, Vijay's final film before he switches over to politics fully, the first single 'Thalapathy Kacheri' has already become a chartbuster and now, the producers KVN Productions have made a huge announcement.

The audio launch venue for Jana Nayagan has been finalised and it will not be held in India. Traditionally, the audio functions of Vijay's films have been held in Tamil Nadu itself. However, this time, Jana Nayagan will have its audio launch in Malaysia. On Friday (November 21), the film's producers announced this update on X through their official handle.

Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur will be the venue for Jana Nayagan's audio launch. Like all of his previous films, the audio function for Jana Nayagan is also keenly awaited, especially as it is touted to be his farewell film. The political thriller directed by H Vinoth has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The promotions for the film had to be delayed after the unfortunate events that occurred at the rally organized by Vijay's political party TVK in Karur. While investigations around the event are still on, Vijay and the producers mutually agreed to delay the film's updates. According to sources, the initial plan was to start promotions from Diwali onwards but all that changed after Karur happened.

There were rumours of the film's release being postponed but all that has been denied by the film's makers who have strongly stood by the initial date - 9th January 2026. Therefore, Jana Nayagan will hit theatres on Pongal 2026, and will have a same-day clash with Prabhas' The Raja Saab.
