Wedding photoshoots and bridal showers have become quite a trend recently, with out-of-box ideas and interesting themes, sometimes in line with the couple's passion or career.

So, it was only fitting that Bangladesh batswoman Sanjida Islam decided to give her bridal shower ceremony a cricketing twist.

The top-order batswoman got married to Mim Mossadeak, a first-class cricketer, from Rangpur. Islam took to Instagram to share a few pictures from her bridal shower ceremony, which showed her decked in a traditional saree, jewellery, flowers and... a cricket bat! And that's not all, she takes guard in front of the wickets and engages in some light-hearted bat swings.
