Sunrisers Hyderabad got their floundering campaign back on track with a comprehensive 15-run win over Delhi Capitals, in an IPL 2020 match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. It was the first win for SRH in three matches, having lost to RCB and KKR.

Having put up 162/4 in their 20 overs, the Sunrisers restricted the in-form Capitals to 147/7. Spinner Rashid Khan was the star performer with the ball for SRH, picking up three wickets for just 14 runs in his four overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, too, chipped in with 2/25.

Chasing 163 on a slow pitch, the Delhi Capitals batsmen struggled to up the ante in the face of some great bowling from SRH, especially at death by Kumar and T. Natarajan. For DC, opener Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 34, while a subdued Rishabh Pant made 28 off 27 balls.

Earlier, after being asked to bat, SRH openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow started cautiously on the slow pitch. The duo put on 77 runs for the first wicket, with Warner scoring 45 off 33 balls.

Bairstow went on to score his second fifty of the tournament as he smashed two fours and one six in his 48-ball 53 and shared another crucial partnership of 52 runs off 38 balls with Kane Williamson (41 off 26) for the third wicket.

Making his IPL debut, Jammu and Kashmir's Abdul Samad (12 off 7) blasted a four and six in his useful cameo.

For DC, pacer Kagiso Rabada was yet again the standout bowler, picking up 2/21 in his four overs.
