India were 305/4 in 46.4 overs against Pakistan when rain stopped the match at Old Trafford in Manchester in the ICC Cricket World Cup on Sunday.

Rohit Sharma scored his second ton in this World Cup to lead India to a mammoth score against their arch-rivals. Rohit hit a majestic 140-run knock off 85 balls—his second quickest ODI century—before falling to Wahab Riaz. Rohit and KL Rahul (57) put on 137 for the first wicket.

Meanwhile skipper Virat Kohli became the fastest cricketer to reach 11,000 runs in One-day internationals, breaking Sachin Tendulkar's 17-year-old record. Kohli (71) and Vijay Shankar (3) were at the crease when the skies opened up.

Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and chose to send India to bat. The India-Pakistan clash is one of the most anticipated matches in the World Cup. India have won all their six World Cup encounters against Pakistan, and Virat Kohli's men will look to make it seven this time.
