Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who began his four-day Uttar Pradesh tour from Monday to drum up support for party candidates in the ongoing assembly polls, reiterated the "terrorist" rhetoric, saying he is the terrorist who scares the corrupt.

A few days ago, reacting to allegations of harbouring separatist ideas, the Delhi CM had said he would "be the world's sweetest terrorist, a terrorist who provides schools, hospitals, electricity, roads, water."

On Monday, addressing a poll rally in Lucknow, he said there are two types of terrorists—the first is the kind who scare people, and the second is the type who scare the corrupt. "Kejriwal is that terrorist who scares the corrupt."

He then quoted a dialogue from the hit movie Sholay. "Jab baccha bhrashtachar karta hai toh maa kehti hai soja beta varna Kejriwal aajayega..."

During his four-day tour of the state, the Delhi CM will visit Barabanki, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur, and join various election-related programmes of the AAP.

A few days ago, Kejriwal alleged that his rivals, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Akali Dal's Sukhbir Badal and former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh have ganged up against him and are calling him a "terrorist." “It is comedy, it is a laughing matter. If that is the case, then why doesn't Modiji arrest me," he had demanded to know.
