The BJP may have suffered reverses in the recent assembly elections but Prime Minister Narendra Modi's magic seems to be intact, at least at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar.
Narendra Modi merchandise were selling like hot cakes at a saffron-coloured stall put up at the venue of the three-day summit.
Shailesh Desai, one of the stall managers, told THE WEEK that their products have generated interest among all age groups. The merchandise can also be purchased online through the 'Narendra Modi' app.
Key chains (Rs 20 each), ball pens (Rs 20), Modi masks (Rs 200), T-shirts (Rs 200), notepads and wall clocks were available. The merchandise have several slogans on Modi.

Bhadresh Patel, who picked up a key chain, said that he would gift it to his 25-year-old son-in-law, who is a Modi fan.
Foreign delegates also thronged the store.
Near the stall, was another booth where people can get themselves photographed with Modi (his virtual image). The photographs were then emailed to them. Long queues were seen throughout the day.
The famous Modi jackets and Modi kurtas, too, were available at the JadeBlue store at the venue.
