Shah Rukh Khan, according to a report by Pinkvilla, is slated to play a don in the film, The King. The King will also star his daughter Suhana Khan. The movie will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan with Siddharth Anand.

“King is his passion project and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh. They have collectively carved a very cool full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in King,” a source said.

The film's team is reportedly working with international stunt teams for action sequences in the film. Suhana Khan too, will be getting trained for action sequences. Shah Rukh is investing heavily in the project. The high-octane action-drama is being budgeted at close to Rs 200 crore. The film is expected to release in the second half of 2025. Fans can expect heartfelt moments between the father and daughter in the film, in which, Suhana plays Khan's disciple.

Suhana, in January this year, made her Bollywood debut alongside star kids Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda in the Zoya Akhtar film, Archies. Khan, who's somewhat of a fashionista, wowed netizens recently in a bodycon polka-dotted dress, while on a holiday in Milan. The Dolce & Gabbana dress is priced at $3,645 (approximately Rs 303,884). She paired it with pumps, also by Dolce & Gabbana.
