Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta, who dared to take on veteran actor Nana Patekar, accusing him of harassing her on the sets of a film in 2008 even as the #MeToo movement was gaining popularity and popular support across the world, is now coming out with a short film on sexual harassment in Bollywood.
According to media reports, the short film, which will be released online on International Women’s Day on March 8, will turn the focus on "exploitation of young newcomers" in Bollywood, according to media reports.
The actor, however, said the movie will not be a true account of the lives of actors, but will be "reality meets fiction."

Tanushree Dutta hopes to keep the dialogue on exploitation and abuse of newcomers in the industry going with this short film, titled Inspiration. The actor told Mid-Day that she wrote the dialogues for the movie and added that these are inspired by her own insight and understanding of the issue.
Speaking about her role in the film, Tanushree Dutta said she plays a guardian angel who inspires girls who are new in the industry to take the right decisions.
After she came out with the harassment allegation against Nana Patekar, she had also called out actors like Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth who collaborated with him over the years. “If such big stars will keep working with these culprits then there's no hope for any movement to happen,” Tanushree Dutta had said.
