'Dhurandar' ban doesn't stop Pakistanis from watching Ranveer Singh spy thriller

Dhurandhar has smashed box office records in India, but the Ranveer Singh spy thriller has been banned in Pakistan. However, it has not stopped Pakistanis from watching the movie, according to a report.

Pakistanis have managed to access torrents and piracy links via servers in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Malaysia, according to News18. It added that low-resolution camera prints of Dhurandhar can be accessed on platforms, including Chinese hosting websites.

In India, the Aditya Dhar directorial has raked in Rs 433 crore in net domestic collection in 13 days, according to Sacnilk. The 13-day gross domestic collection has already crossed Rs 500 crore on Wednesday.

It also managed to mint Rs 140 crore in overseas earnings, taking the total worldwide collection to Rs 634 crore in 12 days till Tuesday. Day 13 worldwide figures, which are expected on Thursday, is expected to cross Rs 650 crore.

Dhurandhar, which was produced at whopping budget of Rs 280 crore, has an ensemble cast that includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Set in Lyari, Pakistan, the film is inspired by real-life incidents, including Operation Lyari.

The spy thriller received an A certificate from the censor board because of its gory violence. It was released with a finalised runtime of 214 minutes.
