The app is a mobile clearing house where parents can book classes not only for academic needs but also for their children to pursue extra-curricular activities, hobbies and interests. Tutors too can sign up for free to offer tuition classes through this platform.
Categories of tutoring include Pre-school, School (CBSE, ICSE & International Board), Under Graduate (BBA, BTech etc), Professional Courses (CA, PGDM etc), Post Graduate (MTech, MSc etc), Entrance Coaching (Engineering, Management, Civil Services etc), Hobbies & Interests and Languages
You can opt personal tuition (At your residence or the tutor's location), group tuition and mock tests. You can book one single session or the entire course/series. The app includes a rate card and payment window. WONK will provide a list of tutors matching your requirement which you can sort & filter using the various options provided. When you sign up with the application, you are immediately registered as a member on www.myedge.in. All the tutors registered on WONK are available for interaction on the website.
Since its inception, WONK has registered over 25,000 members and 15,000 tutors. It has received over 2,200 class bookings from Delhi and Mumbai region where it is able to provide tutors. It will soon expand to Jaipur, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Baroda, Kota and Cochin.
