21-year-old French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati would agree that for an athlete, the disappointment of missing out on an Olympic medal is beyond words. The pain could be double-fold if the failure comes on one's home soil, despite hundreds cheering you on.

Anthony Ammirati failed to deliver at Paris Olympics 2024 on Saturday because the crossbar was disturbed by his genitals during the fall. That's right, he did manage to go beyond the crossbar while trying to clear a height of 5.70 meters but he clipped it with his crotch as he was on his way down to the landing system. As a consequence, Ammirati failed to qualify for the finals and finished 12th.

While it is common for Olympians to be offered lucrative presents and employment opportunities for their stellar show for the country, not many in history have received the kind that has come Ammirati's way. The French youngster, whose "bulge" became a talk on the internet, has been offered employment in the porn industry. The paycheck offered to him is heavy, reports said.

Daryn Parker, who is the vice president of porn site CamSoda, the first to offer 360-degree virtual reality live streams, has reportedly offered Anthony Ammirati a six-figure sum to show off his “talent”.

"If it was up to me, I’d award you for what everyone else saw, your talent below the belt... As a lover of crotch-centric activities, I'd love to offer you up to $250,000 in exchange for a 60-minute webcam show, in which you show off your goods, minus the crossbar, of course," TMZ quoted Daryn Parker as saying.

However, shattered by his disappointing outing, first-time Olympian Ammirati has not even addressed the matter. "It's a big disappointment," he told the French Athletics Federation. "I’m a bit gutted because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings."
