Paraguay swimmer Luana Alonso, who was kicked out of the Olympic Village over "inappropriate behaviour", has claimed that Brazilian football icon Neymar slid into her DMs on Instagram.
Two-time Olympian Luana Alonso, 20, is an Instagram sensation with over 928K followers on the social media platform. The striking beauty made the revelation about Neymar during the Paraguayan radio show Aire de Todos. When the RJ pressed the US-educated Luana Alonso to reveal the contents of Neymar's message, she refused to elaborate. "It was left on the request form.
"I cannot tell this here," media reports quoted Alonso as saying.
The Paraguayan swimmer had claimed to be a fan of Al-Hilal attacking midfielder Neymar, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation for an injury. In 2022, Neymar had reportedly reacted to one of her photographs on social media.

Luana Alonso made headlines during the Paris Olympics 2024 when she was evicted from the Games village over "inappropriate conduct." She was accused of creating an "inappropriate atmosphere" within Team Paraguay by sneaking out of the village to visit Disneyland instead of supporting her teammates.
Some also accused her of "distracting" other competitors with her “skimpy clothing and socialising with other athletes.”
