Kerala Blasters will have a new sporting director from the next season. The yellow brigade are set to announce the arrival of Karolis Skynkys as the new sporting director. Skinkys was the director of Lithuanian club FK Suduva. Skuduva currently plays in Lithuania's top division football league. Blasters will hope that the inclusion of Skinkys will revive the club from its current poor run of form.
Skinkys, who comes with several years of experience under his belt as a sporting director, will be in charge of key decisions at the club going forward. Blasters are the club with arguably the best fan following, but have been unable to capitalise on the strength of their 12th man even during home matches. Blasters finished the season 7th, having won only four games from the 18 that they played.
