New Zealand announce 13-man squad for Test series vs India

New Zealand on Monday announced their 13-man squad for the Test series against India. The opening game of the two-match Test series will begin from February 21 in Wellington.

Captain Kane Williamson, who was declared fit for the final match of the ODI series after suffering a shoulder injury, will helm the team in the Tests. B.J. Watling, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell and Tim, Southee are also featured in the squad.

Trent Boult is making his comeback after recovering from the injury he sustained during the Test series against Australia in December last year. Kyle Jamieson, who was called as replacement for the injured Lockie Ferguson, also found himself in the squad after his impressive show against India in the ODI series, along with Ajaz Patel.

Ross Taylor has been named in the squad and is set to become the fourth New Zealand player to play 100 Tests after former players Stephen Fleming, Brendon McCullum and Daniel Vettori.
