Central Bank of India has announced an opportunity for graduates to become Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 3000 vacancies across various branches/offices in the respective regions. Here are the key details:
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university, obtained after March 31, 2020 .
Age: Candidates should be born between April 1, 1996, and March 31, 2004. There are age relaxations for scheduled castes, OBCs, PWDs, widows, and divorced women.
Training and Stipend
The training period is for one year as per the Apprentice Act 1961.
Stipend: INR 15,000 for Metro, Urban, Rural, and Semi-Urban Branches .
The selection is based on an Online Test and Interview. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for March 10, 2024. Applicants must produce a certificate proving proficiency in the local language up to Class 8/Class 10/Class 12/Graduate level.
Application Fee: Rs.800 (Rs.600 for Scheduled/Women/EWS and Rs.400 for differently abled). Fees can be paid online. Interested candidates can register through the Apprenticeship portal at www.nats.education.gov.in .
