Cockroach Janta Party found Abhijeet Dipke on Friday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the centre to provide an ex gratia of RS 1 crore to the families of the NEET students who died by suicide after controversies in the examination.
In the letter, Dipke also reiterated the CJP’s demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Dipke notes that about 11 NEET aspirants died by suicide in the country in the last week, with 5 of them dying within the last 48 hours.

“In pursuit of a better future, many had taken out massive educational loans to support their children's dreams, which were cruelly shattered by systemic failures,” he said.
He said that the students wanted to see some accountability for the loss of lives.
“If swift and decisive action is not taken to address these systemic failures and change the leadership responsible for them, it inadvertently sends a message that the administration accepts the status quo, “ the letter read.
About 2.27 million students had appeared for the exam across 551 cities in India before it was cancelled.
A probe is underway in multiple states.
The suicides were reported from Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Karnataka.
In the most recent case, a 17-year-old medical aspirant jumped from the sixth-floor balcony of his residential apartment in Ahmedabad.
In another recent case, a 19-year-old aspirant, Anukeerthana, died by suicide after consuming poison in Coimbatore city on Wednesday. In a note, she said that she was afraid of facing the exam again and felt distressed about the financial burden on her family.
In Delhi, a 20-year-old, Aniska Pandey, who had prepared for three years to write the exam, also died by suicide shortly after the exam cancellation.
The NEET exam, which was held on May 3, was cancelled after allegations of paper leaks surfaced in the days after the exams. The examination was subsequently postponed to June 21.
