"Mirzapur: The Movie" has continued its impressive run at the box office, delivering strong numbers even after its opening weekend. On Day 8 morning, the film's total India gross collection has reached ₹178.42 crore and its India net collection to ₹149.70 crore, effectively beating the net collection of "Toxic" Hindi version (₹149.02). The worldwide gross of "Mirzapur: The Movie", as of on Day 8 morning, now stands at an impressive ₹213 crore, noted by box office portal Sacnilk.
The film's first-week performance has firmly established it as one of the major theatrical successes of 2026. Its worldwide collection has placed it among the year's biggest releases and has helped it outperform several high-profile films.
Within just seven days, "Mirzapur: The Movie" has surpassed the lifetime collection of another cult gangster genre follow-up, Emraan Hashmi's "Awarapan 2", which stands at around ₹212 crore. Globally, it has comfortably moved past the lifetime gross of "Alpha", which stands at ₹98 crore. The film is now closing in on other major 2026 releases, including "Dhamaal 4" at ₹224 crore and "Bhooth Bangla" at ₹247 crore.
Naturally, trade experts have remarked on the film's transformation from a popular OTT franchise into a major theatrical blockbuster as a potential "case study."
The Day 7 figures also show that the film is holding well during weekdays. Overall occupancy on its second Thursday remained between 25.9% and 27.58% across India. Demand increased significantly as the day progressed. Hindi 2D shows recorded 13.31% occupancy in the morning, 24.69% in the afternoon, 27.08% in the evening and a strong 43% at night. In mass centres such as Lucknow, Bhopal and Jaipur, night-show occupancy crossed 60%.
The film will easily hit the ₹150 crore milestone on the second Friday. The latest release of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan's "Haiwaan" is also unlikely to seriously disrupt its run. Given its strong weekday performance, exhibitors are expected to continue giving "Mirzapur: The Movie" the major screens. If it maintains a healthy second-week hold, its final worldwide gross could reach ₹320–350 crore.
