'Gopal turned Gulshan': Photograph shows stages of how victims were targeted in TCS Nashik case

A new video and photograph showing one of the accused in the Tata Consultancy Service case with a purported victim has now added new layers.

Investigators say that it's shown how the victims were influenced and drawn to religious conversion.

Police sources say that the Key accused in the photograph, Tusif Attar, is standing next to a man named Gopal. Gopal reportedly converted and became Gulshan.

The photograph obtained by the police was recovered from the accused man’s phone.

After Attar was questioned in detail, it became clear that the man in the photograph was not an accused but one of the victims who was employed in the company.

Investigators alleged that the photographs showcase a key moment in the alleged process of converting the victim. The victim was reportedly gradually persuaded to adopt new practices and participate in prayers and rituals,

One of the victims who spoke to the authorities said that he was approached during a difficult time in his life. His father had had a paralytic attack in 2023, and he was facing family difficulties. He was targeted with messages, videos and pressured with the aim of coverting him.

At the time, I was mentally unstable, and so I started listening to them. Through their acquaintances, they started sending me different videos. They tried to influence my beliefs,” he said.

The man said that he was pressured to change his name and that he was taken to different places for religious rituals.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are examining all the digital evidence.
