Fresh ruckus erupted in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday after the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, tried a redo of the speech he tried to make on Monday. The House had to be adjourned after that.
The Congress leader stood up to make his speech during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address and once again began by citing former Army Chief of Staff MM Naravane’s memoir to make a point on the national security concerning India-China clashes. This time, he brought in an authenticated copy of The Caravan article, which contained the excerpts of the memoir.
"I have authenticated it," he said. To authenticate a document, a member must submit a signed copy and affirm that it is correct to the best of his knowledge.
He was then asked to table the document for examination by the chair, who said, "We will examine it and get back".
Rahul Gandhi then proceeded to speak more on the India-China issue. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju then suddenly countered his speech.

In the ruckus that followed, Krishna Prasad Tenneti, who was chairing the house, took offence when one of the members, likely from the Congress, addressed him saying, ‘What is this yaar.’
"What did you say just now… what is this yaar… this is Parliament, this is Lok Sabha… you cannot address the Chair with yaar. Please take back your words. Respect the Chair. This is against the decorum of the House," Tenneti scolded while pointing towards Rahul Gandhi and Congress leader KC Venugopal.
Opposition MPs were enraged by the fact that the LoP was being interrupted. Tenneti proceeded to skip Rahul Gandhi's turn and named Naresh Uttam Patel as the next speaker. However, he refused to speak.
An uproar followed, and papers were thrown towards the chair, which led to the house being adjourned till 3 pm.
Later on, Rahul Gandhi alleged that he was not being allowed to speak as he once again referred to Naravane’s memoir. He said that he only wanted to make a statement on what happened between India and China and how the Prime Minister reacted, and asked why he was being stopped.
