The BJP's main strength lies in its well-oiled party machinery and cadre. To keep the cadre engaged, and strengthen the organisation, BJP chief J.P. Nadda said the party will reach 20 crore people through 'har ghar tiranga' programme and engage with the 30 crore listed beneficiaries of central government schemes.

Speaking during the meeting of office bearers at the BJP national executive meeting in Hyderabad, Nadda assigned more tasks to the partymen. The party needs to be strengthened at the booth level, and each booth should have 200 active members associated with it.

"It is important to strengthen the booth, interact with cadre which in turn helps in engagement with the people. Every booth should have 200 active cadre, and WhatsApp groups should be set up at grassroots levels to engage with people. Efforts should be made to take PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat talkshow to people," party vice president and former Rajasthan CM Vasundhra Raje Scindia said quoting Nadda.

Scindia said the party will come out with two resolutions, one on political situation in the country and other on economy and gareeb kalyan (pro poor) measures.

During the discussion on political resolution, the current situation in the country including the Udaipur incident may also be debated. The party has also decided to come out with a political statement on Telangana as the state plays host to the national executive meeting.

As part of strengthening the party, the institution of 'panna pramukh' will be strengthened as they laid the foundation of party victories. "Every week state presidents will review the booth-level workers, programmes and progress made," Scindia said.

Nadda also asked the partymen to focus on 'pravas' programme where leaders spend a night in different areas interacting with cadre and locals.

"The flag hoisting at every home will be done as part of the 75 years of Indian independence celebrations. We will make it into a big movement and unite country. We will reach 20 crore people," he said. The flag hoisting campaign has been a huge success in the party as it was able to take control of the nationalism plank which served the party well in the past.

Referring to 30 crore beneficiaries, engaging with whom have done wonders for the party during the elections, Scindia said the party has the list and now efforts will made to reach them and engage. “This will help in knowing the problems faced by the people and also ensure that schemes do not become stagnant."
