A day after the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha commemorated Mahatma Gandhi martyrdom day as 'Shaurya Divas' by shooting an air gun at an effigy of the father of the nation, the website of the right-wing organisation was hacked by a group who identified themselves as Kerala Cyber Warriors.

The hackers wrote “Hindu Mahasabha Murdabad” on the landing page, along with a message which read: “Gandhi ji always remained an inspiration for people globally to follow right path, the path of non violence in all their actions.”

It also posted a quote of the late leader. “Nobody can hurt me without my permission. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

Meanwhile, the police on Wednesday registered case against 13 persons, including Pooja Shakun Pandey, a woman leader of the outfit, in Aligarh for firing at an effigy of Gandhi with an air pistol on the occasion of his 71st death anniversary.
