Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the action thriller is a partial remake of the Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari. The makers have mentioned that the film explores themes of political corruption, and that girl-child empowerment serves as an emotional hook throughout the movie.
