Actor Vijay Deverakonda and family suffer minor car accident near Undavalli

Renowned actor Vijay Deverakonda and his family were involved in a car accident at Undavalli, which is in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The incident happened on Monday (October 6) and fortunately, nobody from the actor's camp was injured.

The Kingdom star and his family were travelling in their Lexus car when it came in contact with a Bolero vehicle, thereby experiencing minor scratches on the vehicle. Following the incident, Vijay and his family were moved to a different vehicle in which they continued their journey to Hyderabad.

Later in the night, the actor took to his social media account on X to clarify the safety of himself and his family. Not only did Vijay confirm zero casualties but also informed that he had done a round of workout after getting back home. 

"All is well Car took a hit, but we are all fine." wrote Vijay on X.

"Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you."

2025 hasn't been a great year for Vijay's career as his only release Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, tanked at the box office without much of a trace. In fact, he is yet to register a genuine box office success since Geetha Govindam which released way back in 2018. The failure of Kingdom has extended his lean patch at the box office.

Earlier in the week, the 36-year-old was rumoured to have completed his engagement with actress Rashmika Mandanna although there hasn't been any official statements from either of them. The duo has been strongly linked to be in a relationship since their Geetha Govindam days and while both have constantly mentioned about the other's importance in their lives, the relationship status hasn't been confirmed yet.
