Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat are teaming up for the first time in a heist thriller. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, and written by Sumit Aroraa, Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins has Khan playing a jewel thief who is contacted by an underworld figure to steal the African Red Sun, the "world's most elusive diamond". Netlfix has announced that the film will begin streaming on their platform from April 25.
As per Netflix's official logline, the thief's "perfectly planned heist then takes a wild turn" and the ensuing high-stakes race lead to "chaos, twists, and unexpected alliances." Aside from Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor and Nikita Dutta in key roles.

A few days ago, a promo song from the film titled 'Jewel Thief: Jaadu', was released on YouTube which showed the principal characters in a disco-themed dance track. Many viewers, who were caught surprised by Jaideep Ahlawat's moves, praised the Paatal Lok and Jaane Jaan actor's versatility.
