Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy, who was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after suffering a brain stroke, is suffering from Aphasia, a condition that prevents you from framing sentences correctly. The 90s heartthrob was shooting in sub-zero temperatures when he suffered the stroke. He was shooting for LAC- Live The Battle, a movie being directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta and produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu.
Due to the brain stroke, the right side of the actor's body has been affected, his brother-in-law Romeer Sen said. The actor will need physiotherapy along with medication, and, doctors say that he is currently out of danger and recovering well.
"We stay with Rahul bhaiyya and the medicines prescribed by the doctors are working for him. He should be out of this soon. But, do pray for him," Sen said.
