Anti-narcotics officers in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday arrested Delhi-based actor Man Singh in connection with trafficking MDMA.
Singh was known for playing supporting roles in films and TV shows like 'The Family Man' and 'Farzi'.
According to an investigation by an Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Uttar Pradesh police, Singh had been absconding for about a year in a drug trafficking case filed at the New Agra Police Station under the NDPS Act, as per a Jagran report.

As a result, an ANTF team travelled to Agra—where they had traced his location, based on specific inputs—and arrested him on Sunday, after which he was brought back to Agra on a transit remand.
How Man Singh got into drug trafficking
Man Singh told the police that he had moved to Mumbai in 2008 because he wanted to work in films.
He explained that over time, he began getting roles in films and TV series, but also met a drug trafficker and began working with him.
Two of the associates Singh came in contact with while drug trafficking at this time were Shailendra Kumar and Hariom Dhakare—both of whom were arrested by the UP police on October 3, 2024.
It was this investigation that pointed to Man Singh, who reportedly received money from them via bank transfer, and had also travelled to Agra multiple times for handling drugs.
The ANTF investigation continues, with the hope of finding the remaining members of the drug trafficking ring that Man Singh was a part of.
