On expected lines, Dhurandhar not only had a sensational second weekend but also ended up shattering the all-time record by beating Pushpa 2's second weekend figures by a country mile. The second weekend numbers came to around Rs 135 crore nett, unprecedented stuff when you factor that very few films have managed this even in their opening weekend.

After a record-smashing second Friday of Rs 30 crore nett, Dhurandhar hit top gear on Saturday by breaching Rs 50 crore nett with historic occupancies across the board. Plenty of special shows were added, especially past midnight and this is usually a sign of a earth-shattering blockbuster.

The Mumbai circuit which has the potential to contribute 50 percent of a Bollywood blockbuster's numbers saw a plethora shows after midnight in most of its screens, both at multiplexes and single screens. On Sunday, Dhurandhar went even further by touching Rs 55 crore nett although the figures could have been even higher if not for the India-South Africa T20I match in the evening.

On its 11th day, which is the second Monday, Dhurandhar is showing no signs of slowing down as it is set for another record-smashing day at the box office. Early trends suggest a bare minimum of Rs 20 crore nett and it also seems on track to touch Rs 25 crore nett at the box office. If the evening and night shows continue with their historic run, we could see the figures come up a bit more.

Dhurandhar's 11-day collections are set to be around Rs 345 crore nett and the worldwide figures will zoom past Rs 500 crore today with plenty more still left in the tank. Can it do Rs 1000 crore nett? That is the major challenge left for the film as it looks certain to break all domestic records in Bollywood.
