Singer Billie Eilish called out bodyshamers during her concert in Miami on Monday, using a powerful video interlude. In the video, the 18-yr-old singer removed her shirt as a voiceover slowly read out thought-provoking lines.

"Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me,” she said in the voiceover, with the crowd howling in the backdrop. Eilish, who usually dresses in 'baggy' clothes, called put body-shamers and trolls for judging her based on her body or choice of clothes. "If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I'm a sl**. Though you've never seen my body, you still judge it, and judge me for it. Why?" she said during the voiceover.

She also asked if her shoulders and chest provoked them. Towards the end of the video, Eilish lowers herself into a dark fluid and asks if her value is only based on their perception. The powerful speech which Eilish used to highlight the fact that young female singers like her want to be known for their music and not their body, is receiving massive attention on social media. Her fans have been sharing the video, urging others to imbibe the message she passed on.

Eilish made history at the 2020 Grammy awards recently as she swept the four biggest prizes—best new artiste, record of the year, album of the year and song of the year. She also became the first artiste in 39 years to take home the four major awards. Eilish won record of the year and song of the year for "Bad Guy".

Eilish was also roped in by the makers of upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die to record its official theme song. The 18-year-old singer, who wrote the song with her brother Finneas O'Connell, is the youngest artiste in history to record the theme track for the long-running spy franchise. She released the song in February. The last Bond theme song for Spectre was performed by Sam Smith, while Adele performed the theme for 2012's Skyfall. Both of those artists' songs ultimately won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
