With the 2026 US midterm elections underway to decide the future of Trump's legislative agenda, voters are also eager to find out the outcome of the elections.

The outcome of the midterm elections will weigh heavily on various factors like the rising cost of living, which has become one of the major talking point for citizens. Rising prices of groceries, fuel, health care and other essential goods have affected many across the country.

Apart from this, other deciding factors like military action on Iran, election integrity, transgender sports, and data centres will also weigh on the midterm elections this year, as per a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
