Nitesh Tiwari’s "Ramayana: Part 1" is creating history even before its global theatrical release on November 5, 2026. The heavy-budget epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, has already surpassed the final advance booking figures of Ranbir Kapoor’s 2023 blockbuster "Animal".
Strong audience interest, cultural significance and its impressive star cast have helped the film set new pre-release records.
According to data tracked by Sacnilk, "Ramayana: Part 1" has recorded remarkable advance bookings across India and overseas markets.
In Hindi markets, the film has collected around ₹45.96 crore in net advance bookings, with two days remaining before its release. This is significantly higher than "Animal", which finished its advance booking run at ₹29.25 crore.
The difference is also clear on BookMyShow, where "Ramayana" has sold more than four lakh tickets, compared with around 95,000 tickets sold by "Animal" at a similar stage.
Its worldwide advance bookings have reportedly crossed ₹115 crore, including more than ₹40 crore from overseas markets.
North America has emerged as a particularly strong market, with over 51,000 tickets sold for paid previews scheduled for November 4.
This demand has surpassed early benchmarks set by major Bollywood releases such as "Jawan", "Pathaan", and "Animal".
As of November 3, the film's India gross advance booking collection for the extended five-day weekend stands at ₹75.56 crore.
Of this amount, around ₹62.08 crore comes from bookings excluding blocked seats. The film has also sold over 18.67 lakh tickets across 60,124 tracked shows in India.
Given the strong ongoing pre-sales momentum, trade estimates suggest an India net opening of ₹50 crore to ₹83 crore. Made on a reported combined budget of ₹4,000 crore for this two-part project, "Ramayana" is expected to have one of the biggest openings in Indian cinema.
