Wedding is synonymous to traditional attire in India. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra took up this 'tradition' and stunned in a dazzling pastel pink sari for the wedding of her brother-in-law Joe Jonas.
Singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner held their second wedding ceremony in France, on Saturday. While the bride and the groom stood dazzling in a white gown and black suit, Priyanka and Nick Jonas were seen in flowing net sari and a slick black suit, respectively.
Her desi outfit, designed by Sabyasachi, was paired with a plunging neck sleeveless blouse and pointed golden heels. She also accentuated the look with pink roses on her hair, which was tied up loose with thin beautiful braids. Her makeup was simple yet fleshy, and accessories minimal with drop earrings, a golden watch and a silver ring. The sari featured intricate embroidery on net, with lace attached along the borders.
It is not very surprising that the Bollywood actress, who never fails to cheer up her fans through her dressing styles for every occasion, looked gorgeous in the wedding photographs. The photographs were doing the rounds of over social media, especially on the official fan page of Priyanka Chopra. Those included the photos of the entire Jonas’ family, and a couple photos of Priyanka and Nick Jonas as well. Another trending photograph featured Priyanka posing on a bench for the photographer to capture her fabulous look. She was also seen wearing a pinkish, golden framed sunglass in some of the photos.
After the surprise wedding of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in Las Vegas, the formal second marriage with family and friends comes two months later.
Priyanka Chopra was recently seen on social media wearing a sari without blouse, for which she faced trolls and criticisms. She wore a shimmery sari for the cover shoot of an international magazine, and the videos and pictures featuring her with the bare back flooded social media.
Priyanka was also seen wearing a similar designer sari in pink and silver for a wedding reception, almost a year-and-a-half back, the video of which had gone viral.
