After targeting the infidels, foreigners, gays and women, the Islamic State now seems to be on a new mission—to kill children with Down's Syndrome.
According to Mosul Eye, an Iraqi activist group, the Islamic State issued a fatwa to its members, asking them to kill infants with Down's Syndrome and other such congenital deformities. Reports suggest that any infant with any sort of disability is at the risk of being killed.
A Saudi Sharia judge, Abu Said Aljazrawi, issued the fatwa.
As many as 38 infants—between one week and three months old—have been killed by by the members of the militant outfit. Reports reveal that most of the killings have been in ISIS strongholds in Syria and Mosul. The infants are killed either by suffocation or by a lethal injection.
