Everyone is eager to see the film to understand what impressed Thalaivar so much so that he stepped out of his comfort zone to work with a young filmmaker. The actor so far handpicked his directors, mostly with a track record of commercial hits, who knew how to exploit his larger-than-life reputation to the hilt.

Kabali is made at a budget of Rs 80 crore is now in the post-production. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Attakathi Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and others in pivotal roles.
