Even days after the death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, his followers are still reeling from the shocking tragedy. It has now been revealed that Kirk, 31, had a lengthy conversation with his rabbi friend, Pesach Wolicki, before his death.
Ahead of kicking off the American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University, Kirk met Wolicki, 55, via Zoom on Tuesday night. Wolicki, a US-born rabbi who resides in Israel, said Kirk was excited to kick off his campus tour at Utah Valley University, reported the New York Post.

Wolicki, who often advises his evangelical Christian friend on how to defends Israel and Jews during his public debates, met Kirk in December 2023 at a 12-person Shabbat dinner during a Turning Point America Fest event.
The rabbi said that they both discussed about creating a WhatsApp channel for questions thrown at Kirk during the campus tour.
The 55-year-old said the slain influencer was "unbelievably courageous" as Gen Z conservatives are "turning on Israel" and often bombarded him with questions. Saying that it worried the heck out of Kirk, Wolicki said, "He held fast and it wasn’t easy. Charlie was always seeking true information."
During his debate at Utah Valley University in Orem, Kirk, who is an evangelical Christian, also praised the Mormon community despite disagreements.
Moments before the shooting, Kirk said around half his team are Mormons. "I love how Mormons send missionaries around the world, I love how polite they are. … Half my team is Mormon," he said.
“Mormons are great people. Let me just say, I’m an evangelical Christian, but I’m not one of those guys that hates on Mormons,” Kirk added.
A few moments later, Kirk was allegedly shot by a sniper, identified as Tyler Robinson, from the rooftop of a nearby building. Kirk was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries after undergoing surgery. Ironically, Tyler Robinson himself was raised a Mormon by his parents Matt Robinson, a law enforcement veteran, and Amber Robinson, a care worker.
