The remarkable box office run of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is hitting snail pace as the Ranveer Singh starrer enters its third week. But it is still possible for the spy thriller to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark in net domestic collections within the third week.
On Day 15, Dhurandhar 2 netted just Rs 9.53 crore from 12,277 shows in domestic box office as of 6 pm, report Sacnilk. This takes the total net collection in India to Rs 929.55 crore.
Dhurandhar 2 could still shatter Baahubali 2 record of Rs 1,030.42 crore collection in net domestic box office but beating the Rs 1,234.1 crore raked in by Pushpa 2 is a distant dream.
During the extended first week, which includes paid previews, Dhurandhar 2 minted Rs 581.47 crore compared to Rs 295.55 crore in the second week. The highest daily net collection was recorded on Day 4, when the espionage thriller bagged Rs 114.85 crore while the lowest was recorded on Day 14 with Rs 20.1 crore collection.
The gross domestic collection of Dhurandhar 2 has reached Rs 1,112.71 crore on Day 15 while the worldwide collection has touched Rs 1466.47 crore on Day 14, as per available data. The collections from overseas screens was pegged at Rs 365 crore.
In worldwide box office, Baahubali 2 has minted Rs 1788.06 crore in its lifetime while Pushpa 2 has earned 1,742.1 crore.
