Hardik Pandya is in pristine ball-striking form and it was on show during India's recent T20I series against South Africa. The all-rounder was at his ruthless best once again, this time for Baroda during their Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Vidarbha on Saturday (January 3). Amidst a poor batting performance, Pandya stood tall with a cracking century.

A maiden List A 💯 brought up in some style 🔥
Hardik Pandya was on 66 off 62 balls against Vidarbha...and then he went berserk in the 39th over to complete his 100, smashing five sixes and a four 💪

The highlight of his knock was the swagger with which he got to his hundred in the 39th over of the innings. Pandya took left-arm spinner Parth Rekhade to the cleaners by hammering five successive sixes and a four in the over. During the mammoth 34-run over, Pandya got to a well-deserved century in style.
Pandya eventually ended with a fantastic 92-ball 133 in an innings where the next highest score for Baroda was only 26. They eventually ended with a competitive total of 293 but with the pitch easing out, Vidarbha's formidable batting line-up will fancy themselves to chase this target down.
Vidarbha made the most of winning a good toss and had Baroda at 71/5 by the 20th over. The Pandya brothers put on a 65-run stand to arrest the slide but Krunal couldn't convert his start into a big knock. Hardik, though, looked in prime form and paced his innings beautifully by marshalling the lower order with him.
For Vidarbha, Yash Thakur picked up four wickets but he was also expensive, conceding 64 runs in the bargain. Rekhade had bowled decently till that over where Hardik took him apart.
