Pakistan's star cricketer Shoaib Malik married popular Pakistani actor Sana Javed, even as social media was abuzz with speculations of his separation with former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
Malik took to social media today to share photos from the wedding ceremony. Sana Javed changed her Instagram name to Sana Shoaib Malik.
The veteran cricketer had wished Sana Javed on her birthday last year, sharing a photo of them together on his Instagram page. It had led to specualtions that the two were dating each other.
Interestingly, a couple of days ago, Sania Mirza had shared a cryptic post, triggering divorce rumours. In an Instagram post, she wrote, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely."
Sania Mirza also deleted all images of Malik from her account. The only image with him is of the couple with their son at a swimming competition. Malik, too, has deleted Sania's images from his profile. He altered his Instagram bio, too - earlier, it read, 'Proud husband to @mirzasaniar'.
