The IPL 2023 belonged more to the batters than bowlers, but there was no dearth of records anyway. Here's a look at some of the records set this season:

Most centuries scored: 12

Shubman Gill scored three while Virat Kohli scored two tons.

200-plus totals: 37

Eight of them were scored by teams chasing in winning cause; 16 matches this season saw match totals of 400 runs or more, with 12 matches having both teams score totals in excess of 200.

At 23, Gujarat Titans’ star batsman and Orange Cap winner Shubman Gill managed to have all these three records to his name.

Fastest 50 in IPL history

Rajasthan Royals' Yashasvi Jaiswal, who won the Emerging Player of the Year award, scored it in just 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Most IPL titles

Chennai Super Kings equalled Mumbai Indians record of five IPL titles, clinching a last-ball thriller against Gujarat Titans in the final.
