Professional wrestler Mark Calaway known as the Undertaker is retiring from the WWE after saying that he has no desire to get back in the ring. He revealed his plans to retire from the WWE after almost 30 years in the last episode of his documentary series Undertaker: The Last Ride.

Admitting that there is nothing more for him to accomplish in wrestling, the Undertaker said the time is right for “new guys” to step in the ring.

“Never say never, but at this point in my life and in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring,” he said.

“I’m at a point, it’s time this cowboy really rides away. There’s nothing left for me to conquer. There’s nothing left for me to accomplish. The game has changed. It’s time for new guys to come up. The time just seems right. I think this documentary has helped me discover that. It’s really opened my eyes to the bigger picture.”

The official handle of the WWE put out a tweet with the hashtag #ThankYouTaker in honour of the Undertaker.

The Undertaker made his entry into the world of wrestling in 1990, and during his career has claimed the World Heavyweight Championship thrice, four WWF/WWE Championship titles, WWF Hardcore Championship, six WWF World Tag Team Championship titles and won the Royal Rumble in 2007.
