The self-isolation and self-quarantine period amid the coronavirus pandemic has brought out the creativity in many. Be it film stars or sportspersons, celebrities are taking to social media to share moments of their lives at home, with fans.

Cricketers, especially, seem to be having a whale of a time in self-quarantine. From Rohit Sharma to Ben Stokes, from Shreyas Iyer to K.L. Rahul, all seem to be up to something interesting every day to cheer up their fans.

A couple of days after India opener Shikhar Dhawan tweeted a video of a rap urging people to stay at home during the 14-hour 'Janta Curfew', New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi, too, rapped to spread awareness about the spread of coronavirus and the precautions to take to avoid it.

The video was shared by IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, with whom he has been associated since 2018. He was released by the franchise ahead of the auction this season, but, surprisingly, returned to the side as their spin-bowling consultant and operational executive. All this when he is just 27 and has not even announced his retirement!

Rajasthan Royals shared the video with the caption: “Can't go to a concert? @ish_sodhi brings the concert to you!

Stay safe and stay indoors. #HallaBol | #RoyalsFamily

Sodhi has represented Royals in eight IPL matches, taking nine wickets at an economy rate of 6.69.

Meanwhile, the franchise, too, spread awareness about the importance of social distancing to stop the transmission of the disease, in a unique way. They changed their logo, separating the two Rs, with a message: “Distanced today, stronger tomorrow”.
