With more than 2.5 lakh people being tested positive for COVID-19 across the globe and more than 10,000 dead already, people are being forced to stay indoors to help stop the spread of the dreaded disease.

The sporting calendar is in disarray, with events and competitions cancelled or postponed. With Indian Premier League, too, postponed till April 15, some cricketers, however, are finding unique ways to kill boredom and spend time with their families, and putting it up on social media, much to the delight of the fans who are missing their favourite stars on the field.

Take, for instance, India wicketkeeper-batsman K.L. Rahul, who seems to be 'multi-tasking'! In a video he shared on Instagram, he is seen knocking around a ball, spending time on his PlayStation, reading a book, working on his iPad, and fiddling on his phone.

Equally hilarious is Chris Gayle's #StayAtHomeChallenge. The West Indian batting great took to social media to share a video where he is seen working out in a Superhero-like costume, with 'Eye of the Tiger' playing in the background, and 'attitude' written all over him, literally.

A few other cricketers, too, were seeing working out, in their own inimitable ways. India opener Shikhar Dhawan posted a video of him working out in a garden, with a tree for company! “There is always an opportunity to do something productive and be safe at the same time. Feels great to be in the nature right now and enjoying my workout as well. Stay Strong everyone,” he wrote.

Dhawan also posted a video with his son Zoravar, where the two are seen having quite a laugh using a filter.

England bowler James Anderson, meanwhile, had his daughters for company while working out at his home. “The girls are more than happy to help me train at home,” he wrote on Instagram, with a thumbs-up emoji, while sharing the videos where he is seen using his two daughters as 'weights'.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes, meanwhile, seems to be using the time to catch up with some golf with his son Layton. England's World Cup hero also posted another video where his wife is seen pulling off a prank on him.

And it's not just about families. Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and India pacer Mohammed Shami took to Instagram to show their love for their pets.

But it's not fun time for all cricketers. Alex Hales, for instance, had to return midway through the Pakistan Super League because of COVID-19 symptoms. He is yet to be tested and is in quarantine. Similarly, New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson, too, has been placed in quarantine after having complained of sore throat.
