England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bat first against New Zealand in their World Cup match in Durham on Wednesday.
The match is termed as a must-win match for both England and New Zealand. The hosts need to beat New Zealand to enter the semifinals of the World Cup. England are fielding an unchanged side against the Kiwis.
England are currently placed fourth with 10 points. If England lose, Pakistan can take advantage of the situation and better their chance of making the semifinals with a big win over Bangladesh on Friday.
For New Zealand, Tim Southee has come in for Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry replaced Ish Sodhi in the playing XI. The Kiwis must win this match with a big margin to knock England out of the tournament and enter the last four stage.
