Celebrities, including actors, models and sportspersons, are raking in huge moolah by acting as social media influencers. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is one of the most bankable stars in the country now and it is evident from the amount he is paid for each sponsored post on Instagram.
Instagram scheduler HopperHQ has compiled its 2018 Instagram rich list, and Kohli ranks 17th on it. Among sportspersons, he is ninth. Think that's too low? Well, think again—he is the only cricketer in the top 10 and gets USD 120,000 for each post! With over 23 million followers, Kohli is ranked above NBA star Stephen Curry, who has 21.3 million followers and earns up to USD 110,000 per post, and retired boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, who has 20.7 million followers and earns up to USD 107,000 per post.

The list tells you who is making how much with each post and who is leading the charts when it comes to raking in money through the photo-sharing application. They take into account the number of followers, per post engagement and frequency of posts to compile the list.
HopperHQ's Instagram rich list is topped by none other than Kylie Jenner, who may charge up to USD 1 million for a post. Jenner, who owns a cosmetic empire which is popular across the globe, soared past her half-sister Kim Kardashian, who is number four.
Last year's leading lady Selena Gomes has settled down with the second position with a price tag of USD 800,000 per post. Beyonce, Dwayne Johnson and Justin Bieber are some other names on the list.
The top sports celebrities on the list are Cristiano Ronaldo (USD 750,000), Neymar (USD 600,000) and Messi (USD 500,000)
