Days after Israel claimed it destroyed the digital display in central Tehran counting down to the destruction of Israel, Iran has unveiled another display - this time a calendar that displays the days left until the "destruction of Israel".
The images published by the Iranian government, appeared in Palestine Square, the same spot where the countdown clock was put up. "The latest mural design in Tehran's Palestine Square was unveiled with a design of the calendar of the destruction of the Zionist regime," the post read.
Three days ago, Israel claimed that its missiles destroyed the countdown clock, a digital billboard that has been counting down the days until the promised “annihilation” of Israel since 2017. The clock was unveiled to mark Quds Day, an annual event meant to support Palestinians against Israel.

After the IDF declared it destroyed the countdown clock, Iran’s semi-official Mehr news outlet published a video purportedly showing the doomsday clock still ticking. The clock showed Israel has 5,569 days left and the news website said the video was taken on June 23, though there was no means to verify the authenticity of the video.
When unveiled, the clock gave Israel 8.411 days until its destruction.
