The Indian Air Force is conducting the Agniveervayu intake 01/2025 Selection Test for single men and women. Please note that this selection test is not for Commissioned Officer/Pilot/Navigator/Airmen posts. The appointment is for a duration of 4 years. The online application process will be open from January 17th to February 6th.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2025 Selection Test must meet the following educational qualifications:
Science Subjects:
Must have passed Plus Two/Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English, with a minimum of 50% marks. A minimum of 50% marks is also required in English.
Alternatively, candidates can have a 3-year Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT, with a minimum of 50% marks. A minimum of 50% marks is also required in English. If English is not a subject at the Diploma level, then a minimum of 50% marks in English is required in Plus Two/10th .
Another option is to have passed a 2-year vocational course with a minimum of 50% marks, which includes Physics and Maths. A minimum of 50% marks is also required in English. If English is not a subject for the vocational course, then a minimum of 50% marks in English is required in Plus Two/10th .
Non-Science Subjects:
Must have passed Plus Two/Equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. A minimum of 50% marks is also required in English .
Alternatively, candidates can have passed a 2-year vocational course with a minimum of 50% marks. A minimum of 50% marks is also required in English. If English is not a subject for the vocational course, then a minimum of 50% marks in English is required in Plus Two/10th .
It is important to note that candidates who have studied science subjects are also eligible to apply for non-science courses. During the online registration process, candidates will have the option to appear for the examination of both science and non-science subjects in one sitting.
Age and Physical Qualification
Candidates applying for the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2025 Selection Test must meet the following age and physical qualification criteria:
Age: Candidates should be born between January 2nd, 2004, and July 2nd, 2007, inclusive of both dates. The age limit at the time of enrollment is 21.
Height: For males, the minimum height requirement is 152.5 cm, and for females, it is 152 cm. Chest width for males should be at least 5 cm, and they must be able to develop. Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
Visual Qualification: Candidates should have a visual acuity of 6/12 in each eye (6/6 with glasses). Hyperopia should be +2.0D, and myopia should be 1D (including ± 0.50 D nearsightedness). Color vision should be CP-II.
Physical Fitness: For males, the physical fitness requirements include running 1.6 km in 7 minutes, completing 10 pushups, 10 situps, and 20 squats within the allotted time. For females, the requirement is to run 1.6 km in 8 minutes and complete 10 situps and 15 squats within the specified time.
Application Fee and Selection Process
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of 250, which can be paid online.
