Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bihar will be 'Jumle ki Barish', lashed out Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday. Modi will launch the National Makhana Board and inaugurate various development projects in Bihar on Monday.
Reacting to Modi's visit, Yadav said, "The prime minister is coming to do 'Jumle ki Barish'; no development work is being done," he charged. Yadav charged that the prime minister will not talk about real issues pertaining to Bihar.

"The prime minister will not speak on any real issue. He will only talk about infiltrators. He will not talk about Bihar's development or improving the lives of the poor. The PM is coming to Purnea, may he also visit the medical college there, he will see what the reality is," Yadav told reporters.
On Monday, Prime Minister Modi will launch the National Makhana Board in Bihar. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth around Rs 36,000 crore at Purnea, and flag off new trains, improving connectivity to the region.

Yadav's attack comes soon after he lashed out at the Nitish Kumar government in state over poor conditions at Purnea government hospital. The key Opposition leader visited the hospital on Saturday night and flagged the “deplorable condition” of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnea.
"This deplorable condition is not of some district hospital, community health centre, or primary health centre, but of the so-called medical college,” he charged.
