Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday launched another scathing attack against Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over MP Mahua Moitra's alleged cash-for-query issue.

West Bengal BJP general secretary and MLA Agnimitra Paul criticised Moitra and wondered if Banerjee was aware of all her activities.

"TMC MP Mahua Moitra shared the login ID and password of Lok Sabha to Darshan Hiranandani. Sitting in Dubai, he is posting questions on the Lok Sabha portal. Mahua Moitra has accepted a bribe for asking a question about Adani in the Parliament. Wasn't Mamata Banerjee aware of what her MP is doing?" Paul told ANI.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused Moitra of sharing her official login credentials of the Lok Sabha website to the CEO of the Hiranandani Group. In his complaint to ethic committee, Dubey said that Moitra was in India when her parliamentary ID was used in Dubai.

The ethics panel had summoned Dubey to record his statement.

Though TMC has not yet officially commented over the row. TMC's Derek O'Brien said decision regarding her would be taken after the parliament panel's investigation.

“Since the matter has to do with an elected MP, her rights and privileges, let the matter be investigated by the right forum of Parliament, after which the party leadership will take an appropriate decision," O'Brien told PTI.

Hiranandani has also admitted that the MP had shared with him her Lok Sabha login details so that he could directly post the questions.

The committee is set to hear the complaint filed by Dubey on Thursday.

However, Moitra stood firm on her stand and lashed out against Modi and Adani.
