The Delhi Police have drafted a 3000-page chargesheet against the accused Aftab Amim Poonawala, the live-in partner of Shraddha Walker who was brutally murdered last year. Over 100 witnesses, DNA tests, phone logs and forensic evidences are listed in the draft chargesheet.

There are more than 100 witnesses based on the forensic and electronic evidence has been made the basis of the draft charge sheet, NDTV reported.

Shraddha was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner on May 18 at their rented flat in Delhi's Mehrauli. He had chopped her body into 35 pieces which he stored in a fridge. He had also dumped the body parts in Mehrauli forest area.

The chargesheet is drafted by the police after the month-long investigation.

A DNA test conducted last month had confirmed that the bones that Poonawala led the cops to in the urban forest were Shraddha's.

"We have received the crucial test reports such as the DNA profiling evidence that confirmed the bones are Walkar's. Many test results are yet to come. Apart from it, the electronic evidence connects Ponnawala to the murder. The two types of evidence (forensic and electronic) prove out case beyond doubt that she was murdered by Poonawala. This is enough to support our case," a police officer was quoted by Hindustan Times.

The phone records clearly indicate that Aftab was the last person she was been with. Even the narco test is favouring the police but it is inadmissible during the trial, said reports. The police has recovered saw, several knives, and many tools from their rented flat.

Her father, Vikas Walker, filed a police complaint in October last year when he had no news about her for sometime. Shraddha met Aftab over a dating app and was living in Vasai, Mumbai before shifting to Delhi in May last year.

The 28-year-old Aftab is currently in judicial custody since November last year.
